Man, remember 10 years ago when they stopped
manufacturing 1200s, and then they eventually
became nearly impossible to find? Well, you might
not have known that, but it really happened. Without
this helpful newspaper ad, that could've been the
end for real. Instead, I started a grassroots move-
ment that ultimately led to Technics reversing
their near-fatal decision. I also pushed for lower
prices; and as you can see by visiting the website
of the authors of the above ad, I made that happen.
The third thing I asked Technics to do was to make
no significant enhancements to their decks ever,
and so far they've stayed true to that request as well.
